Sri.Sibi Malayil Inaugrating the ME PARTY

NEOSCOPE… the students’ forum of the Neo film and broadcasting school was officially inaugurated by Sri. Sibi Malayil and administered the oath to the newly elected office bearers.  The Logo of the “NEOSCOPE” was also unveiled. The occasion was the ME PARTY at the Neo campus on 8th April, 2011. School Director Sri.Jain Joseph was also present on the occasion.

The students were in a festive mood from the morning itself…. decorating and arranging every nook and corner of the campus for the function.

Earlier in the day all the short films made by the NEO 3 students in the previous module was screened. Every crew were given a chance to interact with the audience and share their experience on making their films. After the screening, the films were put to vote. It was a tough competition and out of 9 films 5 films were adjudged the best films.

“ILA KOZHIYUM MUNPE”  by Haris, “LOVER’S CORNER” by Antony Sony, “THUNNI KOOTIYA SWAPNANGAL” by Amal Ravi and “VILAYAATTU” by Mohith were the 4 among the 5 best films.

The best among the lot was “THIRICHARIVU” by Bichu.  Sri. Sibi Malayil gifted him a Syd Field’s “SCREENPLAY” with his autograph as a token of appreciation. School Director Sri.Jain Joseph also showered praises on Bichu who has done a splendid job.

Sri.Sibi Malayil spent the evening with the students and watched a few of their films. In his return speech he told that he was happy to see the standard of the students’ films increasing with each new batch. And he also wished all the best for the newly elected office bearers of NEOSCOPE to achieve more success.

They have been elected unanimously by the students. Jain sir reminded them that there are great responsiblities in their shoulders to lead the Neo community. They will work towards achieving a better creative space in the Neo campus under the guidance of Staff advisor Sajeesh Rajendran (Senior Resident Faculty, cinematography). Lets wish them all the best!
